Tenor Erik Janse studies with renowned tenor Frank van Aken.

Erik had a broad experience in Oratorio and Lied. Highlights include the Evangelist in Bachs's Mathew Passion which he sang several times in the Concertgebouw Amsterdam and Verdi Requiem.

Roles include Rodolfo from Puccini in Utrecht Vredenburg (2025), Don Carlos from Verdi in Utrecht Vredenburg (2020) and Gualtiero in Il Pirata from Bellini (2016). Erik sings freelance at DNO (Dutch National Opera). At DNO he also performed song recitals of Liszt (2015), Mendelssohn (2017) and Debussy (2019).  

Erik is a Jugendlicher Heldentenor.
